The information provided in the FAQ is a valuable resource for all users, whether they are considering applying for a grant, have filed an application or have received a grant.
The answers to most questions regarding eligibility, grants and their use, the application process and what to expect once an application is filed or a grant is awarded, are found in the FAQ.
ELIGIBILITY
The Foundation will only fund young sportsmen/sportswomen who are pursuing their studies and have excelled in any sport and come from a family that cannot fund their training.
The amount of the grant is a fixed amount; A first grant is Rs 1,00,000. An applicant can apply multiple times as long as they can demonstrate continued improvement in the sport and how they used the prior funds.
When preparing your budget for your application, you must explain how you would use the full amount of the grant. The Foundation reserves the right to award grants in larger or smaller amounts and to disburse funds in whole or in part, as it deems advisable.
Applicants can use the funds only for travel/training/equipment for the sport that they excel in.
No. The funds can only be used to pursue your sports related expenses.
You must complete the online application form and upload all the required materials and documentation. Please carefully review the “How to Apply” section of the website, as well as the instructions provided within the application site.
Goal is to give a grant every month. We may fund it more if there is more interest.
You should apply by the 15th of the prior month to be considered for the following month.
The first set of questions will come back to you within a week.

The Foundation does not provide advice or explanations to applicants, and its does not disclose information regarding the decision made by it with respect to a candidate’s application.

After waiting for 3 months.
You can apply a maximum of two times.
If your application is successful, you will need to return to our online application site to accept the grant, and its terms and conditions. You will also be asked to provide the necessary banking and personal information to allow for payment. Payment of the grant is done by wire transfer.
The grant will be given in 4 installments. Athlete will have to demonstrate proper usage of the funds prior to getting the next installment.

After a year, you can apply for a new grant. And another in 2 years.
